Health Care Fundraiser
In May 2024, Parichay led a fundraiser campaign called Health Care in collaboration with Sewa Bharti, a Delhi-based NGO, which works to provide urgent healthcare to sex workers. The campaign raised 50,000 rupees, which have been used to empower sex workers and improve their quality of life by supporting Sewa Bharti’s ongoing health camps featuring a dedicated health clinic, expert-led workshop sessions on preventive healthcare, and diagnostic tests.

Health Aid Workshops
The workshop sessions were facilitated by the Health Care Fundraising Drive and organized in collaboration with Sewa Bharti. These sessions were based on relevant and important health and medical topics, including seminars on common illnesses and infections and the use of contraceptives. Attendees were also educated on STIs and their treatment, vaccinations, and the need for preventive screenings and check-ups. Attendees were also provided free diagnostic tests, health check ups and doctor consultations.
People Positive Promise Pledge Network
People Positive Promise Pledge Network
The People Positive Promise Pledge Network is a pro bono pledge network created by Parichay, of NGOs in the Delhi area. This initiative offers a list of confirmed health care practitioners who offer low-cost and judgment-free services. These efforts were carried out in collaboration with Sewa Bharti and other organizations working with sex workers. After contacting about ten organizations, we were able to officially recruit two medical professionals who collaborated with Kayakalpa and the Indian Community Welfare Organization to provide gender affirming and sex positive healthcare to everyone.
